Monday Moments: Personal Space

January 12, 2015 by Anna 8 Comments

Are fourth children allowed to have a personal bubble? It would appear not.

Um, hello Dad. You’re in my chair.

IMG_0941Mom? A little help here?

IMG_0940

Nope, this isn’t better.

Maybe I’ll try out the playmat instead. This looks promising…

Seriously, guys.

I’m going to my one-man saucer to think up a plan.

Suggestions from other fourth children welcome :)

It’s character building! Being the fourth is the best. The problems start when there are four under you too and you become one of the two middles…..on top of being the fourth! ;)

Haha, that does sound rough! I do think first children miss out on a lot of character building opportunities :)

Our fourth needed space like none of the others. We called it a playpen and she just loved it.

Haha… Adorable. :) I have no clue what it would be like to have a child, let alone 4, but I imagine I’d need my own personal bubble to escape too. Wishing you a beautiful week. Cheers, Anna

YES, my own personal bubble is a significant consideration too :)

Funny thing, my 4th actually does have the biggest personal bubble of the family. She needs her space. Maybe caused by babyhood crowding? Who knows. Do you feel like just shooing them all away sometimes? I sometimes do. But I know they all love him and need to show it. Have a good week!

I only can’t stand it if they’re crowding when I’m nursing…so far he loves the attention, but I can see him loving peace and quiet too!
