Party Appetizer Round-Up

Tis the season for one of my favourite things: appies for dinner!  I love parties packed with appetizers in every corner, with so many things to choose from and the absolute need to sample each and every option.  You don’t need to eat dinner before these sorts of parties, that would be a waste of very valuable stomach space.

We also always do an appetizer meal while opening stockings/gifts, and I’ve been stocking my freezer with mozzarella sticks, spring rolls, spanakopita, and some homemade goodies.  I thought it would be fun to have a list of some of my absolute favourite homemade appies from here and around the web to get us all salivating and breaking out the crusty bread and fat pants!  Which one would you hide in the corner and scarf down??

Round-it-out foods:

Round out the menu with some fresh fruit and veggie platters and a variety of cheeses, accompanied by homemade red pepper jelly, and the night is sure to be a big hit!  Of course, I also always have a couple plates of baked goods hanging around because all this salt usually brings out a sweet tooth or three.

Don’t forget to send my invite…I’ll bring wine, but no promises that I won’t hide in the corner and hoard food ;)
