A long loaf of baguette is one thing I virtually always have in my freezer for last minute guests.
Not because I want to hand them a long loaf and call it hospitality, but because that long loaf can be sliced up and transformed into approximately three hundred and forty seven different appetizers, or it can top a bowl of soup, sop up a rich pasta sauce, or be cubed and dunked in Cheesy Bacon Spinach Dip.
The best use of baguette is thinly sliced, toasted, and topped with a few things from your fridge, whatever you have handy on a given day. I rounded up some of my favourite bruschetta recipes for The Lydia Life today and would love to hear which looks most delicious to you and your favourite ways to top a slice of toasted baguette!

Boom Diggity…. YEAS!!! I love Brushetta, such a simple yet dish to prepare and it always looks so fancy. I made a mushroom and fetta brushetta on the weekend, sooooo good. Havent made a sweet brushetta before, will have a crack at that stat. :)

Yay CARBS! Bruschetta is the perfect dish for entertaining, and so smart to always have a baguette on hand.
