After not attending many weddings in recent memory, suddenly we had two within less than a month! This weekend saw us saying good-bye to the young man who has been part of our family for almost a year and a half.
It was a beautiful day, and a good excuse to get dressed up and go on a date :)

It’s definitely weird, this whole leaving thing, when you get used to having someone around…the kids aren’t the only ones thinking it’s Will coming home when the door opens, and someone is going to have to start letting the cat in before bed and turning off the hall light! But we wish these two lovebirds all the best as they start this new stage together, and hope they’ll still pop in from time to time and rummage through the fridge :)
