This is how Carl and I do gifts. He buys me workout clothes for my birthday and oven mitts for Valentine’s Day, and I couldn’t be happier. I buy him socks and a scale that measures body fat for his birthday, and he feels the love.
I follow the scale gift with a giant cake and we don’t skimp on the servings.
