Tis the season of some of the most gorgeous berries around! These scones can be made year-round with frozen berries, but you’ll want some fresh raspberry chia jam to spread on them and today is the perfect day to take 5 minutes to make that. I’m off to do just that with my sister, and try this strawberry chia jam as well, if we can stop ourselves and our kiddos from eating all those delicious berries on my counter.
For this deliciously fresh and zesty (and of course, irresistibly flaky) scone recipe, pop over to The Lydia Life where I’m posting today and apologizing for my over-fondness for scones :)

Hi Anna, it’s been a while but I came across your blog again today when I was looking for scone recipes for my new Pinterest Scone Board. I pinned all yours on the board ’cause they all sound so good! Like I said, it’s been a while and I’m surprised to see that you’re doing this on your own. You and your sister used to take turns. Hope all is well with her. Obviously your life is going good. I’m glad. Still love your blog.

Thanks Kathleen, nice to see you again! My sister does the website design for me but is very busy with work and kiddos and didn’t love the writing process involved, so this works well for everyone :) Hope you are well too!

I love scones! They’re my favorite breakfast treat to make at home! And lemon raspberry is an awesome combo. I’m hooked on chia seed jam right now … so good!
