We went to Little Ray’s Reptile Zoo with friends this past week, and it was a big hit.
Theo thought everything was great from the vantage point of his stroller.
Kristopher thought everything was great the closer it got.
And Gemma…dang it, she took my spot.
She warmed up eventually – she won’t touch the tarantula, but bring out the python that can grow as long as a school bus and she’s allll over that. The kids flooded down to pet this guy the second they got the green light.
This guy is more my speed :)
If you live in Ontario, Little Ray and his reptile zoo full of rescued or surrended animals (not a SINGLE one taken from the wild, everything from caimans and alligators to giant toads and legless lizards {what, I thought those were snakes but nope, they can blink}) are highly recommended.

Ha! I’m with Kim, I would have been hiding with Gemma, too! We are in Ontario and I still don’t see this being something I’d ever suggest to Jeremy for a family outing. ;). Glad you had fun, though!

Wow, Kristopher is brave! I’ll hold snakes but I draw the line at anything with 8 legs, especially when they are thick and hairy :P It would have gotten quite crowded behind Carl, if I had been there too.
