Last night Gemma’s very clear sleep-talking allowed us insight into what nightmares keep waking her up so scared and upset and wanting to come into our bed.
1) She does not want to go to the party if it means playing with other kids.
2) She does not want to share her balloons.
3) She does not want her bun cut in half.
4) She does not want her bun squished.
5) Sometimes she remembers, and sometimes she just forgets.
How does she EVER sleep at night?? We will be working on these in therapy.

I feel kind of bad for laughing, but it just can’t be helped! That’s one sweet little girl with one tough little life! :) <3

So cute! Having your bun cut in half when you don’t want it cut in half is definitely something to worry about! :)

aw! getting your buns squished can be serious business! A girl friend of mine said that what helps her daughter is to discuss what she’s going to dream about before she goes to sleep… so only happy dreams come… and her buns will be safe :)

(; Funny to read but oh so real! Erin woke up Anthony last week…’Where’s my leg? The puppy chewed it off. ” Anthony said no, here count there are two. It took 5 countings before she fell back asleep. Of course no memory of the incident the next morning.
