Chewy, chocolatey cookie happiness :)
Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup lightly packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or grease lightly.
  2. Beat butter and sugars with an electric mixer on medium speed until pale and creamy, 2-3 minutes. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa, cornstarch, baking soda and salt. Mix into butter mixture until well combined, then stir in chocolate chips.
  4. Drop tablespoons about 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake until just set and middles no longer look glossy, 10-12 minutes. Let cool on cookie sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to cooling racks to cool completely.
  6. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days, or freeze for longer storage.
